  • Ripple was found to have breached securities laws with its \u201cInstitutional Sales\u201d of XRP, considered unregistered investment contracts by the court.<\/li>\n
  • However, the court determined that Ripple\u2019s \u201cProgrammatic Sales\u201d and \u201cOther Distributions\u201d of XRP were not classified as unregistered securities offerings.<\/li>\n
