Authorities reported that Wang initially hesitated, only exchanging minimal internal data for payment. However, he was eventually swayed by the prospect of earning substantial sums by offering just a few documents and photographs to cover his debts.<\/p>\n

As a result of his actions, Wang has been sentenced to life imprisonment by a Chinese court for his espionage activities.<\/p>\n
