The leading cryptocurrency, with a market capitalization exceeding $2 trillion, has entered into the six-figure price range. Following Donald Trump’s presidential election win, Bitcoin has experienced a remarkable 48% increase since November 5.<\/p>\n

In a recent note<\/a>, analyst Geoff Kendrick from Standard Chartered stated that the $200,000 target for BTC by the end of 2025 is within reach. He added:<\/p>\n

We would be even more optimistic if there were increased adoption of BTC by U.S. retirement funds, sovereign wealth funds globally, or a potential U.S. strategic reserve fund. We anticipate that institutional investments will sustain or exceed the level seen in 2024. MicroStrategy is ahead of its $42 billion three-year strategy, meaning its purchases in 2025 should match or exceed those made in 2024.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Similarly, ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood remains optimistic, stating that despite BTC reaching $100,000, the cryptocurrency is still in its early stages. In a statement<\/a> on X, she expressed her eagerness about pro-crypto Paul Atkins potentially leading the SEC.<\/p>\n

Wood referenced comments from U.S. Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell, who likened Bitcoin to a digital version of gold. She noted:<\/p>\n

A report from CryptoQuant forecasts that Bitcoin could rise to $146,000 in this current cycle. As of now, BTC is trading at $101,585, reflecting a 6.9% increase over the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n
