Bithumb, South Korea\u2019s second largest cryptocurrency exchange, has revealed that it will list Scroll (SCR) and Ronin (RON). Trading for these tokens will start on Friday, December 13, 2024, with the option to deposit and withdraw available just three hours after the announcement.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Bithumb’s New Listings: Scroll (SCR) and Ronin (RON)<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

As per Bithumb’s <\/span>announcement<\/span><\/a>, trading for Scroll (SCR) will kick off at 4:00 PM KST, with an initial price of 1,687 KRW for each token. To secure transactions, deposits will require 50 confirmations.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand, trading for Ronin (RON) will begin at 5:00 PM KST, priced at 3,079 KRW per unit. Here, only 15 confirmations are necessary for deposits to be accessible for trading.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both tokens must be traded through their respective native networks; deposits through other networks will not be accepted, which could lead to significant delays in any refund processes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bithumb is implementing initial trading restrictions on both SCR and RON. Hence, buying orders will be disabled during the first five minutes after trading starts. Additionally, sell orders that fall below -10% or exceed +100% of the base price will also face restrictions for five minutes. Only after this period will market and reservation orders become available.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Market Performance of Scroll (SCR) and Ronin (RON)<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

After the announcement, Scroll, which operates on Ethereum’s zk L2 network, saw its value surge by 17.28%, reaching $1.37.<\/span><\/p>\n

The trading volume for $SCR surged by 17.27% to $132.93 million in the past 24 hours, reflecting a rise in its market cap to an impressive $259.85 million, marking a 137.42% increase. Meanwhile, Ronin, developed by Sky Mavis (creator of Axie Infinity), is also showing robust performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

RON\u2019s value increased by 2.31%, reaching $2.28, with a significant 58.38% rise in its market volume to $51.59 million. The market cap for Ronin is now $841.87 million, after experiencing a 2.25% increase.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
