A Paris-based company dedicated to Bitcoin investment aims to secure $340 million through an innovative daily share sale approach. Blockchain Group, recognized for its substantial Bitcoin reserves, is collaborating with asset manager TOBAM to achieve this fundraising goal. The financial proceeds will be directed towards acquiring additional Bitcoin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Currently, Blockchain Group possesses 1,471 BTC, valued at approximately $158 million. This total includes 624 BTC that were recently acquired, as well as 847 BTC from its existing treasury.<\/p>\n

To maintain market stability, there’s a cap on daily sales: a maximum of 21% of the day’s trading volume can be sold to TOBAM<\/a>. This measure is designed to prevent overwhelming the market and ensures that share prices remain steady. The objective is to reach the $340 million goal without undermining investor confidence or triggering sudden price drops.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Flexibility in Fundraising<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Based on approvals from shareholders, Blockchain Group is authorized to issue up to \u20ac500 million ($570 million) in nominal value. However, this higher limit will only be exercised upon board approval. Presently, the firm is focused on achieving the $340 million target.<\/p>\n

If Bitcoin continues to maintain its current pricing\u2014around $107,700<\/a>\u2014the company could potentially acquire about 3,170 BTC with the entirety of the funds raised. The Impact of Bitcoin’s Fluctuating Price<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bitcoin has experienced an uptick of approximately 2.2% in the last 24 hours and 3.5% over the past week.<\/a> Following a record high of $112,000 in May, the cryptocurrency’s price has stabilized, showcasing resilience. Recently, BTC rebounded from $104,100, signaling positive momentum to some investors.<\/p>\n

Other entities within the sphere are also ramping up their Bitcoin investments. Strategy<\/a>, whose leadership includes prominent supporter of former President Donald Trump, Michael Saylor, is on track to raise nearly $1 billion\u2014surging from an earlier target of $250 million. This company already controls 2.75% of all Bitcoin currently in circulation, translating to a valuation exceeding $61 billion.<\/p>\n
