This scenario differs notably from Bitcoin, which relies on a Proof-of-Work (PoW)<\/strong> system. In PoW networks, miners use hashing power to confirm transactions. However, if a single miner controls over 51% of the mining power, they could manipulate the blockchain to their advantage.<\/p>\n

The concentration of Ethereum’s supply suggests a vulnerability, as a coordinated effort from these large holders could jeopardize the network’s integrity. While the likelihood of such a scenario is low, the implications warrant close attention.<\/p>\n

In contrast, more decentralized tokens like USDC (28.6%), DAI (31%), and Chainlink (31.5%) present a healthier distribution of supply, reducing the risk of centralization-related issues.<\/p>\n
