According to data from the analysis platform Lookonchain, Hayes invested in three altcoins: AERO, PENDLE, and ZAMA. His total investments amounted to approximately $888,000, broken down into 546,610 AERO (valued at $460,000), 120,000 PENDLE (about $232,000), and 3 million ZAMA (around $197,000).<\/p>\n
Crypto analyst Eric Nicholas Freund observed that Hayes might have resumed his altcoin acquisitions after being inactive for a significant period. Freund indicated that Hayes\u2019 purchases of AERO began before October 14, of PENDLE on October 15, and for ZAMA, the date was reportedly around October 10. There’s speculation that Hayes could promote these cryptocurrencies on social media soon.<\/p>\n
In addition to Hayes’ purchases, recent whale activity in the market indicates significant movements among large investors. Lookonchain reported that a whale with the wallet address \u201c0x8E8b,\u201d who had previously sold 2,050 Ethereum for $4.93 million\u2014with a profit of $1.08 million\u2014recently bought back 6,010 ETH for $14.23 million.<\/p>\n
Another whale, identified as 0x68Ef, sold 6.76 million BTW altcoins prematurely, cashing out for approximately $85,000. Current valuation of these assets, had they held on, would now be around $13.5 million, leading to an estimated missed profit of about $13.415 million. As noted, the whale \u201cmust be angry at itself\u201d for this decision.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, a whale identified as 0x007d has taken a long position of 3,000 ETH using 25x leverage, entering at an average price near $2,400. Currently, this position is valued at roughly $7.05 million, reflecting an unrealized loss of about $150,000, representing a -53% return.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, a trader with the address 0xDD6A has successfully navigated the downturn in the market, realizing over $6.4 million in profit. This trader is maintaining short positions with a leverage of 20x on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin, resulting in a total position value of $24.6 million and a commendable win rate of 100%.<\/p>\n
