Bobby Lee founded China’s first-ever Bitcoin exchange before its closure due to government restrictions. He went on to establish Ballet Global Inc., a US-based crypto storage provider, and expressed caution about Hong Kong’s current focus on implementing regulations for the sector, warning that it might not sustain its commitment to digital currencies in the future.<\/p>\n
In an interview with Bloomberg, Lee emphasized that Hong Kong was on the verge of issuing licenses for crypto exchanges based on a new rulebook set to take effect on June 1. However, he also stated that it was crucial to keep a broad perspective on the matter.
