The call to action emphasizes enhancing China\u2019s blockchain infrastructure to \u201cbolster\u201d various sectors, including \u201cgovernment services, supply chains, and trade.\u201d<\/p>\n

This suggestion comes when the digital economy is increasing, and the potential for blockchain technology to \u201crevolutionize\u201d data sharing and circulation is becoming increasingly apparent.<\/p>\n

Dong Jin\u2019s proposal is about embracing the technology\u2019s potential and establishing a framework that includes industry standards to assist the growth of the blockchain sector within China.<\/p>\n

So far, the research center is actively working on technology applications tailored to critical industries such as maritime transport, supply chain finance, and energy.<\/p>\n

Despite China\u2019s stringent stance on crypto, including a ban on Bitcoin mining due to \u201cconcerns over energy consumption and environmental impact,\u201d the nation\u2019s interest in the technology as a foundational one remains \u201cundiminished.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, this regulatory measure contrasts with the broader interest in integrating blockchain technology into the country\u2019s developmental fabric.<\/p>\n
