Parallel Network is a layer 2 scaling solution built on top of Ethereum, powered by Arbitrum\u2019s Nitro stack. Parallel Chain is EVM-compatible which means you can do anything on Parallel Network that you would be able to do on Ethereum mainnet \u2013 deploy contracts, use Web3 apps, interact with wallets, etc.<\/p>\n

Parallel Network has raised $34M in funding from investors like Polychain Capital and Coinase Ventures. They\u2019ve confirmed to launch their token \u201cPARA\u201d and do an airdrop to testnet participants. They have introduced a point system where users can earn points based on their activities on the testnet. Points will be converted to PARA tokens after the token goes live.<\/p>\n

Step-by-Step Guide:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Visit the Parallel network testnet page.<\/li>\n
  2. Select Parallel Testnet and connect your wallet.<\/li>\n
  3. Now click on \u201cApps\u201d from the top right, go to \u201cAirdrop\u201d, enter code \u201cBA59A<\/strong>\u201d and complete the Twitter tasks to sign up for the airdrop.<\/li>\n
  4. You will now need some Sepolia ETH. You can get it from here.<\/li>\n
  5. Now bridge ETH from Seploia to Parallel testnet from here.<\/li>\n
  6. Return to the Parallel testnet page and click \u201cCreate Parallel account\u201d.<\/li>\n
  7. Go back to the \u201cApps\u201d section, click on \u201cWallet\u201d and claim testnet tokens.<\/li>\n
  8. Click on \u201cApps\u201d and go to \u201cLending\u201d.<\/li>\n
  9. Supply testnet NFTs and tokens. You will also be able to borrow assets after that.<\/li>\n
  10. You will earn airdrop points for interacting with the testnet. Also, connect to the different available test networks like Goerli to earn more points.<\/li>\n
  11. Invite your friends to the Parallel testnet to earn even more points.<\/li>\n
  12. They\u2019ve confirmed to airdrop PARA tokens to testnet participants based on their points.<\/li>\n
