Base Name Service (BNS) is a native naming service built on Base. BNS maps human readable names like \u201cbob.base\u201d to crypto<\/a> wallet addresses, AA addresses, decentralized webs, hashes, and metadata.<\/p>\n

Base Name Service doesn\u2019t have their token yet but could launch one in the future. Early users who buy a domain may get an airdrop<\/a> if they launch their token.<\/p>\n

\n Step-by-Step Guide:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Visit the Base Names Service website.<\/li>\n
  2. Connect your Base wallet.<\/li>\n
  3. You will need some ETH on Base to buy a domain. You can buy some ETH on Binance. If you don\u2019t have any crypto funds, you can also directly deposit fiat to\u00a0Binance and purchase ETH.<\/li>\n
  4. Visit\u00a0Rhino.fi, connect your ERC-20 wallet and sign two messages (no gas fees). Base recommends Rhino.fi\u00a0bridge on their website\u2019s\u00a0bridge list.<\/li>\n
  5. \u00a0Bridge your ETH from the Ethereum mainnet or the network you\u2019ve ETH into the Base mainnet.<\/li>\n
  6. Now, go back to Base Names Service and buy a domain.<\/li>\n
  7. You will receive 500 points for purchasing a domain for a year. The longer the duration, the more points you\u2019ll earn.<\/li>\n
  8. You can earn a one-year domain renewal or purchase a new domain by collecting 2,000 points.<\/li>\n
  9. They don\u2019t have their own token yet but could launch one in the future.<\/li>\n
  10. Early users who\u2019ve bought a domain may get an airdrop if they launch their own token.<\/li>\n
  11. Please note that there is no guarantee that they will do an airdrop and that they will launch their own token. It\u2019s only speculation.<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/div>\n
