As Ethereum approaches its 10-year anniversary, Toronto is preparing for a significant celebration with a week-long series of events showcasing the evolution of its ecosystem and future developments.
Two major highlights during this celebration are the ETHWomen and ETHToronto gatherings, set for May 13, 2025. These events are part of the Blockchain Futurist Conference and the Canada Crypto Week. With more than 100 events planned throughout the city, Toronto will become the epicentre of Web3 for an entire week.
ETHWomen: Uplifting Women in Web3
Returning for its third year, ETHWomen is a free event designed to elevate women’s leadership and voices in the Web3 space. This gathering will occur from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM on the Upper Stage at the Blockchain Futurist Conference.
The agenda will feature various speakers, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, culminating in a Blockchain4Her ETHWomen Happy Hour at 1:00 PM.
ETHToronto: In-Depth Technical Insights Into Web3
Following ETHWomen, the fourth ETHToronto will take place from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on the same stage. This event includes sessions addressing the technical hurdles and opportunities for Web3 developers.
This year also features the launch of “Wonder to the Future”, a hackathon hosted by WonderFi Labs, running from May 13–31 and focusing on gasless transactions and Layer 2 advancements.
