Bitmine Immersion Technologies has significantly bolstered its Ethereum holdings, raising its total reserves to approximately 6.05 million ETH after acquiring an additional 10,452 ETH last week. This new purchase represents about 4.95% of the total circulating supply of Ethereum.
The recent acquisition occurred on October 25th, coinciding with an ETH price of $2,356, placing the market value of Bitmine’s Ethereum reserves at around $14.3 billion. The company aims to achieve 5% ownership of Ethereum’s total supply.

A substantial portion of Bitmine’s ETH, specifically 5,227,037 ETH, is locked on its MAVAN platform and with various staking partners, which constitutes roughly 86% of its total Ethereum reserves. The company projects that its current staking arrangements could potentially yield approximately $318 million annually, with estimates rising to $368 million if the entire ETH reserve were to be staked. However, it is important to note that these figures are dependent on various factors, such as total staked amounts, validator performance, ETH market prices, and potential penalties.
In addition to its Ethereum assets, Bitmine’s balance sheet includes 215 BTC, a $180 million investment in Beast Industries, a $76 million stake in Eightco Holdings, and $514 million in cash and securities, bringing the overall value of its crypto, cash, and investments to about $15 billion.
Recently, Bitmine also repurchased 2.04 million of its own shares at an average price of $22.48, contributing to a total of 22.9 million shares repurchased this year, amounting to $399.6 million in expenditures.
Bitmine’s CEO, Tom Lee, expressed optimism regarding the ongoing crypto bull market, though he noted that this assessment does not assure future price fluctuations.
