Network Closing Day Sees Altcoin Rise 23 Percent

While the official announcement noted the closure of Lisk Chain today, this does not signify the end of the LSK token entirely. LSKs held on the Ethereum network or on exchanges will continue under their current contracts.

The project outlines a new business model where LSK will function as a loyalty token tailored for a financial platform designed for enterprises. However, users must manage their assets wisely during this transition, as risks are associated with assets still on the Lisk Chain.

Key guidelines indicate that LSK, ETH, stablecoins, and other assets present on Lisk Chain need to be withdrawn prior to the shutdown. The team previously informed users that the typical bridging process takes about eight days, with staked LSK withdrawals potentially extending to at least 11 days. Consequently, initiating a transaction on the day of closure does not ensure timely completion.

Investors and users are encouraged to stay informed and act promptly to safeguard their assets as the transition unfolds.
