WhiteBit, Europe’s busiest cryptocurrency exchange, is sponsoring the inaugural International Crypto Trading Cup 2025 (ICTC), featuring eight traders from different countries.
WhiteBit Unveils the First Livestream Crypto Trading Tournament
This exciting event is scheduled for May 9-10 and will include live streaming to cover all aspects of the competition. On the final day, the trader with the highest Profit and Loss (PnL) could win as much as $5 million.

In a novel format, traders will showcase their skills live, allowing viewers to learn from their strategies, decision-making, and risk management techniques.
Volodymyr Nosov, the Founder and President of WhiteBIT Group, shared insights on the event’s educational component:
The concept of ICTC emerged from a friendly challenge to engage in live crypto trading. This idea evolved into a global championship intended to uplift the industry, gathering top traders on a single stage to exhibit their strategies while competing for the title of the world’s best. Our goal is to promote widespread blockchain adoption, making crypto trading both accessible and exciting in an innovative manner.
Taking Crypto Trading Up a Notch
The Bitrabo team had the opportunity to meet the contestants before the livestream. Traders from various backgrounds, each with over five years of experience, discussed their styles and emphasized that discipline and focus are crucial for success.
One trader remarked that “trading is the toughest job in the world,” emphasizing the need for a strategy that aligns with one’s personality, as trading is a significant “mental and technical challenge.”
Leading up to the tournament, many participants adjusted their approaches. Some who typically operate on longer timeframes shifted to more volatile strategies, while others relied on traditional indicators to assess volatility and maintain profitability.
Some traders tracked Bitcoin Dominance on shorter timeframes in the hopes of forecasting altcoin market trends.
As Bitcoin surpassed the important $100,000 mark and the market sentiment turned bullish, traders had to remain adaptable, although one participant noted that market sentiment is just one of several factors in strategy development.

Additionally, a participant shared valuable advice for emerging traders: every trader should select and consistently test one effective strategy over time.

The tournament will continue until May 10, spanning a total of 12 hours, with each trader required to place at least three trades each hour, intensifying the competition.
The Bitrabo team will be on-site to closely monitor the event and provide additional exclusive updates. Stay tuned!
