Expert Analyst Outlines Price Targets for XRP and Cardano

Analyzing XRP and Cardano: Key Levels to Watch

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez has highlighted significant technical levels for both XRP and Cardano (ADA) that investors should monitor closely. His insights suggest that while XRP is positioned for a potential breakout, Cardano faces challenges including declining demand and increased selling pressure among major investors.

XRP Set for Potential Breakout

Martinez has identified a symmetrical triangle formation in XRP’s hourly chart, with a pivotal resistance level at $1.54. According to him, a closing price above this threshold could confirm an upward breakout, possibly propelling the price towards the $1.70 mark, which would represent a rise of about 10%.

Cardano’s Struggles Amid Weakening Demand

In contrast, Cardano exhibits a more cautious outlook. The demand for ADA in the futures market has reportedly weakened, as evidenced by a 9% decline in open interest over the past week, dropping from $1.99 billion to $1.81 billion. Martinez suggests that this trend reflects a growing tendency among investors to curtail their leveraged positions in ADA.

Additionally, the actions of large-scale investors, referred to as “whales,” indicate increased selling pressure on Cardano. Since September 20th, approximately 90 million ADA, valued at around $22.5 million, has been sold off. This selling activity further amplifies risks for the cryptocurrency.

Technical Indicators and Support Levels

Martinez has also pointed out that technical indicators suggest Cardano’s correction may not yet be fully realized. Following a Tom DeMark Sequential sell signal on September 26th, ADA’s price has experienced a decrease of approximately 10%.

He noted that the $0.24 level serves as a critical mid-band support on the daily chart for Cardano. If the price falls below this level, Martinez warns that it could lead to a drop to approximately $0.21, the lower boundary of his defined channel. However, if this support holds, it could signal a potential rebound, enabling the price to target the upper boundary of the channel around $0.28.

As always, it’s essential to approach these analyses with caution and be aware that this information does not serve as investment advice.
