Investor with 30 Years of Experience Predicts Bitcoin Rally

amid rising uncertainties in the financial markets, Bitcoin (BTC) may be on the verge of a significant upswing, according to veteran macro investor Jordi Visser. With over three decades of experience in the financial sector, Visser pointed out that Bitcoin is starting to diverge from traditional market trends and anticipates a rally before the year concludes.

In a recent discussion, Visser analyzed how developments in the artificial intelligence (AI) sector and challenges faced by hedge funds could create a more favorable landscape for Bitcoin. He noted that as AI continues to reshape investment strategies, highly leveraged hedge funds are increasingly vulnerable, while Bitcoin appears to be holding strong.

Key Dates for Potential Growth

When asked about when Bitcoin’s next surge might occur, Visser identified two critical periods in the upcoming months. The first opportunity could arise at the end of October, coinciding with major technology companies reporting their earnings. He believes renewed optimism surrounding AI could bolster Bitcoin’s appeal, especially with the US midterm elections scheduled for November 3rd.

The second potential growth phase could occur in December, as hedge funds may readjust their portfolios in anticipation of the new year, leading to potential market fluctuations. Visser emphasized his belief that Bitcoin could approach its previous peak values but refrained from providing a specific price target.

Visser’s optimism for Bitcoin is underpinned by its performance relative to traditional financial assets. Since June, Bitcoin has surged approximately 30%, while Ethereum (ETH) has similarly increased over 30%. In contrast, major indices like the S&P 500 and Nasdaq have largely remained stagnant during this time.

Notably, Bitcoin’s resilience within the $82,000-$85,000 range suggests a market shift where investors might be growing more favorable toward cryptocurrencies despite external selling pressures on conventional stocks. Visser highlighted that Bitcoin’s risk-return profile over the last four months has outperformed many traditional investments.

The Future of Finance and Bitcoin’s Role

Visser sees the emergence of artificial intelligence and tokenization as possible game-changers for the traditional finance landscape. He argues that transforming real-world assets into tradable tokens could unlock capital trapped in hedge funds and private credit markets, thereby increasing interest in Bitcoin.

His conclusion is clear: “If I’m right, the best way to protect against this is to buy Bitcoin.” He envisions Bitcoin as a potential alternative store of value in an evolving financial environment shaped by AI innovations.

While Visser believes these transformations will become increasingly evident by 2027, the current landscape suggests Bitcoin may be poised for a significant shift, driven by both market dynamics and technological changes.
