As Bitcoin hovers around the $80,000 mark, analysts are making intriguing projections about its future trajectory. Recent Monte Carlo simulations conducted by two analysts provide a range of potential scenarios for Bitcoin’s price landscape over the next several years.
Willy Woo’s Price Predictions
On-chain data analyst Willy Woo has conducted a detailed Monte Carlo simulation, exploring 10,000 different price paths for Bitcoin. While Woo emphasizes that his findings should not be taken as definitive predictions, they suggest that Bitcoin could reach as high as $1.03 million by February 2033. The analysis indicates that for the year 2028, Bitcoin’s price could peak between $241,000 and $413,000 depending on market conditions.

Woo clarifies that these results reflect past market behaviors and create various scenarios rather than providing concrete price points. Notably, his model includes both bullish and bearish outcomes, accounting for significant lows encountered during previous market downturns in 2018 and 2022.
Extreme Scenarios and Future Forecasts
The analysis by Woo also highlights a broad range of outcomes: the most optimistic scenario could see Bitcoin soar to $1.44 million by March 2029, while the most conservative predicts a drop to around $51,900 by April 2030. In a middle-ground assessment, Woo anticipates a rise to $241,000 in December 2028, followed by a decline to $126,000 in April 2030.
Smithston With’s Simulation Insights
Another analyst known as Smithston With also utilized a Monte carlo approach, running 5,000 simulations from 2027 through 2034. His results revealed that in none of the simulations did Bitcoin’s price drop below approximately $80,000. According to his median scenario, Bitcoin could close 2027 at $170,000 and rise to $266,000 by 2028, reaching $537,000 by 2030.
The projections for 2034 are particularly striking. In the most pessimistic scenarios, Bitcoin is forecasted to reach $464,000 by year-end, while in more optimistic cases, it could rise dramatically to $5.62 million.
Considerations for Investors
While these simulations present compelling potential outcomes for Bitcoin, it is crucial to recognize that they do not constitute financial advice. The cryptocurrency market remains highly volatile and speculative. Investors are encouraged to conduct thorough research and consider various factors before making investment decisions.
