Armada Acquisition Corp. II Sees Shares Soar Ahead of Evernorth Merger
Armada Acquisition Corp. II is experiencing a remarkable surge in its share value as it moves forward with plans to merge with Evernorth, a company heavily invested in XRP. The stock, traded under the ticker symbol XRPN, has climbed approximately 273% over the past week, raising investor interest significantly.
Anticipated Merger Completion Date
The merger is expected to finalize on October 7, pending the satisfaction of any remaining conditions. After a strong trading session, Armada’s shares closed at $39.42, reflecting a 68% increase in a single day, with the stock briefly reaching a high of $53 during trading.

Current Stock Performance
Just a week ago, XRPN was trading at about $10.58, marking a stark improvement in investor confidence. This increase points not only to the potential of the upcoming merger but also to broader market sentiments regarding XRP.
Evernorth’s XRP Holdings
Upon completion of the merger, Evernorth is projected to hold around 473 million XRP. With XRP currently valued at approximately $1.51, this reserve would be worth approximately $714 million. However, the 84.4 million XRP purchased under a contract set to expire at the end of 2025 for $214.1 million is now valued at only about $127 million.
Financial Standing of Armada Acquisition
The substantial rise in XRPN shares may not solely be attributed to the anticipated merger with Evernorth. As of the end of June, Armada reported having $241.2 million in available funds, with roughly $48 million earmarked for the merger. This situation implies that nearly 80% of the funds raised could be returned to shareholders opting to withdraw.
