Ripple (XRP) Sets $900 Million Fundraising Target

Ripple has unveiled ambitious plans for its future at its Swell event, projecting an annualized product revenue of $900 million by the end of 2026. This revenue reflects the expected growth of Ripple’s product offerings, bolstered by enhancements and the integration of acquisitions made in 2025.

Alongside revenue targets, Ripple highlighted significant advancements, including the recent approval it received from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC) for the Ripple National Trust Bank. This institution will function under federal regulations and adds to Ripple’s existing portfolio of over 85 operational licenses worldwide, serving more than 1,700 clients, including notable names in the financial sector.

Growth of RLUSD Stablecoin

The company reported that its US dollar-backed stablecoin, RLUSD, has achieved a market capitalization of $2.6 billion, representing an impressive increase of over 88% since the start of the year. RLUSD plays a crucial role in Ripple’s payment and custody solutions and has become available on major platforms such as Coinbase, Binance, and Kraken. Ripple is also expanding partnerships with entities like Cross River and Mastercard to enhance the use of RLUSD in global transactions.

Ripple’s portfolio is reportedly expanding. The number of customers and partners leveraging multiple Ripple services—spanning payment solutions, custody, and treasury management—has tripled this year, including partners like Robinhood and Water.org. The firm is particularly excited about its collaboration with BNY, which focuses on tokenizing trade finance on the XRP Ledger and is initiating a project with C2FO for supplier financing.

Transaction Volume Growth

Ripple’s payment services currently offer access to over 60 global marketplaces. The company anticipates exceeding $150 billion in total transaction volume processed by its network by year’s end. Major institutions such as HSBC and Standard Chartered utilize Ripple’s payment services, which include digital asset storage and transaction facilitation in preferred currencies.

Looking ahead, Ripple aims to enable over $16 trillion in transactions through its range of products by 2025. This figure underscores Ripple’s commitment to enhancing its payment infrastructure and broadening the functionalities offered through its Ripple Prime brokerage service, which integrates various trading and exchange mechanisms for different asset classes.

Additionally, Ripple is expanding its offerings in event-based contracts and perpetual futures trading, collaborating with firms like Jump Trading and Virtu. The company’s treasury management service, which supports over 1,000 clients globally, is introducing new features such as “24/7 Returns” to help businesses optimize their capital outside traditional banking hours.

Innovations are also extending to the XRP Ledger’s wallet infrastructure. One recent initiative by Privy, a part of Stripe, is enabling payments in XRPs and RLUSD via programmable wallets, enhancing transaction efficiency for various users, including AI agents.

Ripple’s strategy focuses on adapting to the evolving financial landscape, positioning itself at the forefront of digital asset management and payment solutions.
