XRP Surpasses Solana and Ethereum in Key Metric

The Real World Asset (RWA) sector has experienced significant advancements recently, showcasing a marked increase in the market value and adoption of various cryptocurrencies, notably XRP, Solana (SOL), and Ethereum (ETH). Among these, XRP stands out with the most impressive growth trajectory, solidifying its influence in the asset tokenization sphere.

XRP Surpasses Solana and Ethereum in RWA Growth

In the last 30 days, XRP has achieved the fastest RWA growth compared to both Solana and Ethereum. According to insights from RWA.xyz, the total RWA value on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) increased by approximately 55.4%, reaching an impressive total of $3.9 billion after adding around $1.4 billion within this period. Current statistics indicate that the RWA value has now risen by 57.03%.

XRP Surpasses Solana and Ethereum in Key Metric

This remarkable growth is noteworthy not just for its scale but also because XRP has outperformed two leading altcoins and even surpassed Canton, a privacy-focused Layer 1 blockchain that ranks at the top for global RWA tokenization.

While XRP saw a 55.4% increase, Ethereum and Canton faced declines of 7.4% to $18.9 billion and 4.8% to $313.7 billion, respectively. In contrast, Solana recorded a growth of 13.5%, culminating in a total of $2.8 billion.

The surge in the XRP Ledger is largely attributed to a specific commodity product, the Justoken Megawatt Hour (JMWH), launched by Justoken. Exclusively issued on XRPL, this product accounts for approximately half of the total RWA value on the network.

In just a single day, the JMWH’s valuation skyrocketed by nearly $900 million, escalating from $861 million to $1.76 billion. This rapid increase has been the primary driver of XRP’s unprecedented RWA growth. As it stands, the XRP Ledger has surpassed the $4 billion RWA growth mark, leaving the BNB Chain (BNB) behind, which holds a current RWA tokenization value of $3.6 billion.

XRP RWA Status

XRP Climbs to 5th Place in Global RWA Rankings

Approximately a month ago, XRP’s total tokenized real-world assets amounted to about $2.51 billion, positioning it as the eighth-largest chain by RWA value. At that time, it was ranked below ZKSync Era and Solana, which experienced growth of around 5.45% to $3.2 billion. Meanwhile, XRP achieved remarkable growth exceeding 57%.

Since that point, the XRPL has seen extraordinary progress, now ranked fifth globally in terms of total tokenized asset value. Recent data shows it has overtaken ZKSync Era, Solana, Stella, and Avalanche in the rankings. Ethereum still retains its status as the second-largest RWA tokenization network.

In terms of on-chain activity, the RWA transfer volume on the XRP Ledger has surged to $145.1 million in the past 30 days, marking an increase of over 50% from previous records. Furthermore, the latest insights indicate that XRPL has experienced a remarkable 120.9% increase in distributed RWA over the last month. The number of RWA holders has also risen significantly, reflecting a growth of 151.72% and bringing the total to approximately 302 distinct RWA products.
